How we label things
- Grower statement
- What a grower says about their own seed or practices. Shown as their claim.
- Documented
- Backed by something we can point to. Shown separately from the grower’s statement.
- Not yet known
- A gap. We’d rather show a gap than fill it with a guess.
- Last checked
- When we last confirmed a listing. Old information is marked as old.
Corrections
Growers can correct their own listings, and anyone can tell us about a mistake. We’ll fix errors quickly and show what changed where it matters.
What we won’t do
- Invent tests, germination rates, origins, or endorsements.
- Show a generic “verified” badge that doesn’t say what was verified.
- Let payment change what a listing says or how it’s labeled.
- Publish a grower’s home address without their say-so.
Paid relationships
Some future links may earn us a referral fee. When they do, we’ll label them, and they won’t change how anything is ranked or described.
